Surface Rhythm begins with a solid or curved form, a body that already feels complete before the surface begins to speak. Across this base, a single element repeats: a link, a mark, or a stroke. It is cut, placed, and repeated until it becomes a second skin. The identity of the sculpture grows through this repeated act.
As the viewer moves around the work, repetition turns into rhythm. Light meets each element in a different way, shifting shadow and reflection across the surface with every step and every change of light. The form remains still, but the surface always feels alive.
The surface does more than cover the sculpture. It becomes the voice of the work, carrying texture, memory, and identity through the quiet power of repetition.
