A memory. A question. A feeling. A moment that stayed with us.
At Ahadi Sharifi Studio, we give these stories a physical presence through line, space, rhythm, surface, and light. We do not begin with a fixed shape. We begin by listening to the story and searching for the form that belongs to it.
Some stories need sharp edges.
Some need space between layers.
Others live through the skin that covers their body.
Every work finds its own language.
The Studio
A sculpture begins when a story demands to be told.
Ahadi Sharifi Studio is a Dubai-based contemporary sculpture studio founded and run by Hamid Kaseb-Ahadi and Mohammad-Hossein Sharifi.
The studio brings together artistic vision and hand-built production. Each sculpture moves through a careful process, from the first idea to the final surface.
Our work is shaped by detail, balance, and a strong sense of identity. We create one-of-one sculptures, limited editions, and selected custom works.
The materials and methods may change, but the purpose stays the same: to give a story a form that can be seen, felt, and remembered.
HOW STORIES TAKE SHAPE
Three sculptural languages. Each story finds its own
Every sculpture begins with a story. The story decides how the form should appear: through sharp planes, shifting layers, or a surface built from repeated elements. Each language gives the story a different presence.
Hamid Kaseb-Ahadi
Hamid Kaseb-Ahadi has always been drawn to the moment when a flat idea begins to occupy space. His early interest in art, origami, and geometric construction led him to create his first metal sculpture in 2015, transforming a composition of planes into a three-dimensional animal form. That experience became the beginning of a sculptural language defined by proportion, precision, tension, and controlled simplicity.
For Hamid, sculpture begins with something that can no longer remain only an image or a thought. A memory, a question, or an unresolved feeling becomes a line, then a structure, and finally a body in space. He refines each form until every edge, surface, and empty space serves the idea behind it. The finished sculpture is not simply an object. It is a story that demanded to be seen, and one he had to tell.
Mohammad-Hossein Sharifi
Mohammad-Hossein Sharifi’s fascination with visual art and origami began at an early age. After graduating in mechanical engineering, he chose to follow his path into art, carrying with him a deep understanding of structure, precision, and construction. Paper gradually gave way to metal, but the act of transformation remained at the heart of his practice.
For Mohammad-Hossein, a story is built piece by piece. Separate elements meet, repeat, and support one another until they become a single form. Through this process, ideas that once existed only in the mind gain weight, rhythm, and presence. Each sculpture becomes a story he has to bring into form.

Ahadi Sharifi Studio is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. From here, we develop contemporary sculptures for private residences, architectural projects, hospitality spaces, and selected public environments. Each work is shaped in close conversation with its story, its setting, and the people who will experience it.
